When you apply, make the subject line exactly: Accountant, I actually read the whole thing
How good could you be in two years, if a firm actually invested in you?
Most accountants spend their early years doing one slice of someone else’s job, learning slowly, waiting on a qualification nobody is funding. This role, our Financial Services Officer, is the opposite. You own a portfolio of client companies end to end, a senior mentor works the cases beside you rather than above you, and we fund your ACCA while you do real work. Do two or three years of this well and you will be as sharp as people five years in elsewhere.
Most firms in Cyprus run on one senior partner's memory. We are building the opposite: an operating system that puts the whole firm's know-how at your fingertips. It is not finished yet, and that is exactly why joining now is worth it. You help build it, and you own real client work while you do. This is a remote role within Cyprus, so where you live does not matter.
If you have not read the rest of our careers page, start there. It covers how we work, what we value and how we hire. This page is about the role itself.

Who does well in this role
The people who thrive here are the same kind of person. You are methodical, and you actually enjoy getting the detail right, because you know a reconciliation that is a euro out is out. You take ownership: when something is yours, you do not wait to be chased, and you do not push a problem upward the moment it gets hard. You stay calm against a deadline, because here the deadlines are real and they do not move. And you are curious about the businesses behind the numbers, because the better you understand a client, the more you can save them.
Pay, package and growth
- €2,000 per month, paid thirteen times a year
- We fund your ACCA studies, subject to our study support policy
- Full package: unlimited work from home, training allowance, flexible hours for working parents, bonus scheme, bi-annual reviews, provident fund, private medical, 22 days leave rising with service, 13th salary, lunch allowance, paid parking for office days, half-day Fridays (3:30pm), corporate events.
You will be graded on accuracy, timeliness, client continuity and your ACCA progress, not on hours at a desk. You start by owning a portfolio under a senior mentor, with 30, 60 and 90 day reviews. As you prove yourself you take on more complex clients and, in time, the path toward Senior Accountant and the lead track opens up. We promote on merit, not time served, and we are honest with you about where you stand.
Make sure you are comfortable with this
- The work is high-stakes. A mistake here costs a real founder real money, time or peace of mind, and we treat it that way.
- Parts of the job are detailed and repetitive. Month-end cycles, reconciliations and filings come round every month, and they have to be right every time.
- The deadlines are external and they do not bend. The authorities and the auditors set them, not us.
- You carry your own portfolio. The responsibility sits with you, with your mentor support, not above you.
- ACCA is a real commitment. We fund it, you do the work.
- The system is still being built, so processes change under you, and you are expected to help improve them rather than wait for them to settle.
- This is remote work. You need a home setup where you can concentrate, reliable internet and the discipline to run your own day.
- Work from home is unlimited, but we may ask you in to the office when the work needs it.
